About Hill Country Doodles:

My name is Teri and I head up the pack that is Hill Country Doodles along with my husband and daughter. In fact, our daughter is Executive VP of Socialization!

I am a work-at-home mom who decided to combine my love of animals with my desire to stay at home with our then 2-year-old daughter. I carefully chose to breed Goldendoodles because of their wonderful qualities – loyalty, intelligence, love of people and their lack of shedding (due to my husband’s allergies). I then chose our first Goldendoodle, sweet Lola. Noel came next – a mini F1, very beautiful & very calm. And, of course, there’s Maximo, our loving mini Poodle. America is our Golden Retriever – happy & loyal (her pups are magnificent!). This year, we will introduce Maggie, an F1 Doodle & daughter to America, as one of our mommy dogs. We can’t wait to see her F1bs!

Along with doing what I love, I firmly believe that raising puppies in our home is an excellent way to teach our daughter compassion & respect for animals as well as the day-to-day responsibilities that come with caring for them. Our daughter, now 5, has learned to be a gentle & responsible caretaker and the puppies benefit by being lovingly and endlessly handled. We all win!
